Jeremy Lin
Jeremy Shu-How Lin is a Taiwanese-American professional basketball player for the Kaohsiung 17LIVE Steelers of the P. League+. He unexpectedly led a winning turnaround with the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association during the 2011–12 season, generating a cultural phenomenon known as "Linsanity".
Geoffrey Nguyen
Geoffrey found his love and passion for pickleball in 2019. He is part of the ownership group of the Bay Area Breakers and acts as their General Manager. Geoffrey also owns The Courts at Piccadilly in Arcadia, CA, a private facility where some of MLP’s biggest stars practice. He has been a pillar in the banking Industry for over 20 years, leading teams to record performances at some of the nation’s top financial institutions including Bank of America, HomeStreet Bank, Flagstar Bank, and Homebridge Financial Services. Geoffrey is also the Chief Financial Officer at CSG Capital Investments, an investment company. Geoffrey earned his B.A. In Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
Mimi & David Mercado
Mimi has a BA in Hospitality from Cal Poly Pomona and helps run a SoCal family business in the wholesale meat distribution industry. David is a meat broker and runs the day-to-day operations. Passionate about pickleball, they feel grateful to have an MLP ownership opportunity through Ritchie. When the couple is not working, they are traveling with their teenage girls to and from volleyball practices/tournaments.
Dr. Wayley and Kathleen Louie
The two are UCLA alumni. Wayley is a Pediatrician in the South Bay Area and Kathleen is a homemaker after relinquishing her career in fashion after giving birth to our 2 boys. They are grateful for their serendipitous run in with Wayley’s childhood friend Ritchie at the APP Los Angeles Open in June 2022 and love their team ownership group as they all connect over a shared enthusiasm for Pickleball.
Jeff & Stacey Nishi
Jeff & Stacey graduated from The University of California, Berkeley and received their Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Southern California College of Optometry. They own two optometric practices and are passionate about helping their patients and volunteering in the community. They have served as President for various non-profit organizations and are leaders within their profession. Their pride and joy are their two children who keep them busy with various sports and activities. During their free time, Jeff and Stacey enjoy golfing, skiing, hiking, paddleboarding, and of course playing PICKLEBALL!
